However you stumbled upon this homepage...welcome!
Wow! Well, it's that time of year again and we never get tired of this majestic siren (n. enchantress) that is our mountain. There is a great postcard available here that says, "Mother Nature and Father Time had a torrid affair and this was the result." And so it is.
Happy, Happy Holidays!!! Whatever "holiday" you may be celebrating, we hope it is full of the people you want to be with, in the place you want to be most and it creates the warmth in you that will take you into a hopeful and wonderful New Year.
There is some snow here but not nearly what we like to see in these parts...but enough to get your skiing, boarding, shoeing, cross country-ing done. There are also all the wonderful places to eat and meet open here in Big Sky and they are ready for you!
As before, everything that is highlighted will take you to the website with that information and it will open in a new window so you don't lose your place here on this page.

AND, we'd like to introduce ourselves - We are just looking for something constructive to do in our "waning" years...not to be confused with our"wining" years, which are now OR our "whining" years, which are over. Realizing that millionaire status eludes us, we endeavor to offer our experience and knowledge to the people who want to visit Big Sky and want to leave with some extraordinary memories. We also realize that planning a short visit (anything less than 12 years) to Big Sky, Montana means you will need to know exactly what you want to do and what's available BEFORE you get here. (Such as, did you know there is no skiing in the summer? But rest assured, there is fishing in the winter!) And then, when you get here, you will need to have the information handy (hence, igadget, crackberry).
The Gallatin River is raging now...and the snow is creating the wonder that is all around this place. Get your ski gear updated (fortunately you can do that right here on this site under shopping on line), your long johns washed out and check out some of the places to stay and play in Big Sky.
This canyon that is home to the Gallatin River is a wonder all its own. You really gotta see it! This shot was taken from the bridge at 320 Ranch.
Okay - back to business at hand...This website is to help you plan your upcoming trip to Big Sky.
