Realizing that so many Big Sky winter vacations are centered on skiing, there are still many, many things to do around the times the lifts are open.

If you are in the resort at the time the lifts close, there is a bungee trampoline for the kids (big and little) that starts at 3:30 daily and usually runs until 5:30 and, during busy times, until 6:30.  On Friday, Saturday and Sunday evenings from 4pm - 8pm there is the Tube Park and Terrain Park for kids under the lights on the lower slopes.  AND every single day at 1pm (with additional times being added due to popularity) there is the ZIPLINE.  Very cool thing to do for anyone more than 45lbs and less than 300lbs.  Snowshoe up to it or ski down to it.  3 consecutive lines 250-550 ft long.  They take 12 people at a time and when the 1pm slot fills up they start booking the 10am and when that fills up they start a 3:30 slot.  But you do need to reserve a spot or 12 - 406-995-5769.
